Course Objectives
Language skills
- Follow French at natural speed across conversations, announcements and broadcasts.
- Read quickly for detail in notices, messages, articles and longer texts.
- Write all three tasks to the length and register each one asks for.
- Speak with control across the three oral tasks, from the interview to defending a point of view.
- Build the tense range, connectors and vocabulary the NCLC 7 band expects.
Exam technique
- Work to the clock in all four sections, so timing never costs you the band.
- Handle multiple-choice questions that get harder as each section goes on.
- Write to the word limits and structure each task is marked on.
- Go into the three speaking tasks with a prepared framework for each.
- Sit full timed mocks under exam conditions before the real sitting.
